After several years in artistic direction with the Bouygues Group, then with the style and advertising agency MAFIA, Martine Marescaux created the Volcan agency in 1985 with the goal of assisting brands with style and design transformations.
For 30 years, she has helped the largest brands with their strategy and with adapting their products to the market and current trends: L’Oréal, Monoprix, the Kingfisher Group, and the E. Leclerc distribution centres, to name a few.
In partnership with Christophe Anjolras, who created the Les Marchands agency specialising in retailing and merchandising in 1999, she developed the concept of Global Merchandising.
In 2015, they decided to merge their agencies and create Volcan Design.
